TreeFight is fueled by passion to protect the white bark pine from the pine beetle epidemic sweeping through the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.

Rising temperatures are resulting in a longer breeding season for the pine beetles, as well as access to the white bark pine that lives at higher elevations.

Once the population of white bark pine is devastated, the greater ecosystem of animals that it supports will collapse soon thereafter.

TreeFight is concerned about this growing epidemic and has vowed to fight to protect the white bark pine. The group brings individuals out into the forests to get hands on exposure to this particular symptom of global climate change.
