Here I explain the Aquarium Nitrogen Cycle and how I do it. Fishless Cycling is always the way to go because it's easy and HUMANE. The Nitrogen Cycle usually takes 3-6 weeks so Please be patient when fishless cycling. Testing frequently is always good so you know what is going on in your aquarium. And I did forget to say one thing!!! After your Ammonia and Nitrites are at a CONSTANT zero and your Nitrites are reduced by that large partial water change, it is then safe to start adding fish. You should only add 1-3 fish at a time to reduce shocking cycle and prevent causing a mini cycle.
