Using fish to grow plants in my college dorm room. Things haven't gone as I hoped. I believe this is because I started out with the wrong kind of lights, preventing the right kind of growth in the beginning. In addition, they were placed in the growbed before the nitrogen cycle had completed--in other words, not a lot of nitrogen was available to them in the beginning either. Now most of them are flowering already, despite their size. Soon I will implement fluorescent tube lights directly above the plants, ensuring adequate light. I am not discouraged by my results, but rather motivated to do it better next time.
